Terms of Service

Access is granted to approved organizations only. Accounts are created by Payme staff following a review of your access request and organization type.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under them.

Payme provides collections, payouts, liquidity monitoring, settlement reporting, and developer APIs for institutional clients such as insurers, brokers, agents, merchants, and fintechs.

Payment execution is performed by licensed payment service partners. Payme provides orchestration, visibility, and reporting on top of those rails.

You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes, to move funds connected to fraud, money laundering, or sanctions violations, or to interfere with the security of the service.

You must comply with the card network, mobile-money, banking, and anti-money-laundering rules that apply to your transactions.

Fees, settlement timing, and payout limits are set out in your commercial agreement or onboarding documentation. Where no separate agreement applies, fees shown in the portal prevail.

We may suspend or terminate access where required by law, to prevent fraud or security risk, or for material breach of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; outstanding settlement obligations survive closure.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted availability and are not responsible for delays or failures of underlying payment rails or banking partners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ghana, without prejudice to mandatory local law protections that apply to clients in other countries where Payme operates globally.
